Since the Lord encountered my life in 2008 I have never been the same. I have travelled all around the UK, Eastern Europe, Romania, USA, Canada, Hong Kong and China ministering to the poor and bringing aid and more importantly introducing Jesus to many, many precious people.
The Lord has changed my view on my time, my priorities, and Im looking to reach out into the world to touch the lives of others. I have learned a love that has no boundaries, and I am ready to run into the darkest places of the earth and bring in the lost, the dying, the poor and the broken. Jesus came with ceaseless love for both the one and the masses. Now we must do the same: stop for the one, but believe for the multitudes.
This July/August I am going with a group of eight to Mozambique to serve at the Iris Ministries centre with Heidi Baker in the coastal city of Pemba. Iris Ministries has been based in the country since 1996, and now cares for over 2000 orphans in a number of different centres around the country. The centre we will be visiting is now the largest in the country and comprises of a school, a church, dormitories, visitors' centre, a clinic for local area, and a ministry school for discipleship training.
While in Mozambique we will be -
• Going on evangelistic outreaches in local bush areas
• Living with, loving and interacting with hundreds of the Iris children, village kids and their families in various planned and informal ways.
• Practical missions -activities such as mercy ministry, visiting the hospital, local prison, and village outreach. Each weekend two outreach teams of students prepare and go out into the bush bush to save the lost, pray for the sick and feed the hungry.
• We will get to minister to Pastors, Students and Missionaries on the job in the base.
My vision can be summed up in a few words:
CALLED TO LOVE.
It costs everything.
It's passion and compassion.
Extravagant love that gives without expecting back.
A laid down life.
A love that looks like something practically.
It's a huge vision that is changing the world person by person and nation by nation.
Matthew 9:36-38: "The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest."
I’m writing to you for support, firstly for PRAYER. As an influential believer you know a lot of people who can pray.The main point of this mission is not only to bless and serve the people in Mozambique but to develop the Kingdom lifestyle that they experience there, here and now. So please pray for our culture to experience His KINGDOM here and now.
Last year I worked in Hong Kong with Jackie Pullinger, the director of St. Stephen's Society, Hong Kong. This is what she said about the work in Mozambique "Only eternity will reveal the impact of the laid-down lives of the Bakers (Heidi and Rolland). Not only have they started a revival that has changed the continent of Africa, but they are training hundreds of eager 'others' to do it as well. How, you ask? By enjoying and expecting miracles now!"- That is what our team is contending for and expecting, Miracles now, here. For those of you whom love and care about, believe in, and would like to SEED into this mission financially to help fund this amazing opportunity, we would be forever and eternally grateful for ANY amount to help ease this kind of cost for the group to travel, live and bring aid to Mozambique this summer. It will cost at least £2000 for each member to get there and anything above that for AID would be amazing! Glastonbury Glory and Mozambique Update…
Just a quick update on the prep for Mozambique and a little taste of Glasto Festy
Im just back from Glastonbury where I was awakened to what goes on spiritually here in the UK. I’ve experienced the supernatural in Hong Kong and Asia (parts of Europe too) but I had never seen anything first hand like what I did in the past week….
I was working with a group of friends near the Healing Fields, we were working with Wiccans, New agers, beside a Shaman community, every type of pagan practice you can imagine.
The supernatural is very real, and people are hungry for the Supernatural
I got to see how God sends people to you… in the midst of the Stone Circle, in a Shaman community, on the plane… the Lord sent people to me and they met Him.
This week ive learned that LIGHT DOESN’T SAY A WORD…IT JUST SHINES!
Matthew 5:14, 16,
“Ye are the light of the world…
Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works,
and glorify your Father which is in Heaven.”
When you walk into a dark room you don’t start fighting the darkness so light can come. You just turn the lights on. The light of the world does not argue with darkness, fight, or even try in any way to remove the darkness. It cannot be extinguished by any darkness. It is the light! Darkness can only exist in the absence of light. Light is a symbol of spiritual presence and power.
Whilst hanging out with, loving and serving the pagan community this week we didn’t preach to them nor tell them how they should be living.
When we were there the Lord showed me a light on the ceiling of our tent. It was giving out light without saying a word! I felt that Jesus was just asking me to let that light shine and people will be drawn to that light which is Him and they were.
Im going to share some of the amazing, fun stories from the past week at Glasto at Carryduff Elim Church this sunday morning at 11am and a little about Mozambique too, so your very welcome to come visit ;)

40 days to go…
… There’s nothing else I’d rather do than live out my days in surrender to Him, being abandoned to His call, and passionately pursuing His heart for the nations.
He is calling us, and there is nowhere else to go, but with Him.
He is worth everything.
For the past three years I have been craving to be at the center of the vortex of His activity in this world, missing nothing.I will go anywhere and do anything if only I can participate in His most transcendent, breathtakingly irresistible work
I am desperate for Jesus.
I want to be satisfied.
I will not stop until I am.
I want a hungry heart to receive what has already been given to me through Jesus Christ.
Once again, it’s a choice:
I will chose to chase the presence of God because I need this more than anything else in life! I want to burn with life and passion in pursuit of what is pure, perfect and eternal!
Thankfully, God is not about using the mighty, but the willing.
He is not into using amazing people, just ones who are prepared to lay their lives down to Him. God is not looking for extraordinary, exceptionally gifted people, just laid-down lovers of Jesus who will carry His glory with transparency and not take it for themselves.
The Lord of the harvest could bring the harvest in alone by His own might, but He chooses to share His divine nature and glory with us. The harvest field is ripe and ready in Africa. The poor know they need the true and living God… These people are not resistant to the Holy Spirit. Coming from Ireland this openness to my Jesus is so refreshing and beautiful. I know I will be amazed…
I know that as I leave for Mozambique next month it will ruin me for small thinking and normal life. I know it will dramatically increase my faith. It will teach me that missions and fruitfulness flows from intimacy with Jesus Christ. I know that He has been and will show us that every radical statement that the Bible says is Truth!
“With God, nothing is impossible.”
That is what it means.
Plain and simple.
